Unable to install the IPS - FP7115-K9 patch via GUI

Hi,

We Have FMC 1000, version 6.2.0 and IPS - FP7115-K9, version 5.4.0.1. Unable to deploy IPS in FMC due to version incompatibility. So i we suppose to upgrade the IPS version to 6.1.0.

As a initial step, we tried to install 5.4.0.2 patch in IPS via GUI. But we are getting below error

Update Installation Failed : [17%] Fatal error: Error running script 200_pre/005_check_manager.pl

please advise how to resolve this error.

What's currently managing your 7115?

If it's not in production you would be better off just reimaging it to 6.2 using the ISO and then register it to your FMC.

Yes. It is not in production. So i have upgraded to 6.2 via ISO file. Thank you for your suggestion.
