Unable to Update ASA5512-X

Hi all,

I tried to upgrade ASA 5512-X to 5.3.1.4-19 but I received an error message : Update Installation Failed : [38%] Fatal error: Error running script 450_prior_updates/100_run_prior_updates.sh

Can you have any idea how to resolve this issue

First approach is to try to reapply the upgrade. Often it will work on the second attempt.

If that fails, then please open a TAC case. I have had instances where they run some scripts in the underlying Linux OS to clean up some files and that allowed the upgrade to proceed normally.
