Can someone confirm that as of today FTD is not available for 5585-x?

The model is not listed in the documentation, plus in the downloads I can't see ftd image for 5585 but it's there for other 55xx models.

Yes you're right, FTD isn't supported on 5585 models (https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/firepower/quick_start/reimage/asa-ftd-reimage.html#id_51356)

FTD image is as of now limited to low and mid range ASA not high range (5585)
