I am attempting to upgrade the software on my sensors, and I continue to receive "update install failed" errors on them.
I ran into another thread suggesting to "re-apply" the existing health policy, and then try again.
Not only did that not work, now the sensors are in a warning state, and throwing "Health monitoring severely behind schedule."
I have a total of 4 sensors, but only blew up 2 of them attempting to perform this upgrade, and could use some assistance.
The 2 failing, and currently in "health monitoring" error are:
Model: ASA5516
Version: 6.2.3
I was attempting to install:
Cisco Network Sensor Patch |
6.2.3.1-43
|
Could anyone provide some insight and/or remediation steps for this problem?
Thanks

This issue is still occurring. Anyone have any suggestions?

That's not a common error. Your best bet is to contact the TAC.
If you're upgrading then you must have entitlement to do so and that includes technical support.

Thank you Marvin, will do. Yes, I have support, but I was hopeful that this problem wasnt going to be anything significant enough to engage TAC on.
Since I have exhausted all other options, TAC is the only other option.
