Upgrade FTD

Currently my FTD is running version 7.0.4, I am thinking of upgrading to Release 7.2.8, can I upgrade to 7.2.8 at once or should I do it gradually?

It is a Firepower 1120 managed by FMC version 7.2.4

how are you managing this FTD, using FMC, then you need upgrade FMC before upgrading FTD

as per the chart you can upgrade to 7.2.8

As always suggest : take the configuration backup, read the release notes, if this HA look at the guide lines, if this standalone it is service interrupt upgrade (give enough time for upgrade process)

@aramirez20610 you can upgrade the FTD direct from 7.0 to 7.2.8 without an interim upgrade, as per the guide https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/secure-firewall/upgrade/management-center/726/upgrade-management-center-726/planning.html

You MUST upgrade the FMC to 7.2.8 or newer (i.e., 7.4) before you upgrade the FTD.
