upgrade PIX 506E to ver. 6.3

After upgrading – do I need to create the whole configuration again or does it know to read to running configuration file?

Do I need to hard reset the pix after the upgrade?

Hi,

After the upgrade, it will ask you to reboot the pix. Then once you reboot, you don't have to recreate the config. Your existing config would be ok. But, before you proceed with upgrade, please, make sure to execute "write mem". Thanks,
