Hi All,
we need to upgrade our IOS in Cisco ASA 5585-x from 8.4(7)3 to 8 .4(7)28 what is the best way to do it ? what are issues we can get while doing it? and these 5585-x are in the context mode like we have 15 context.

Hi Barath,
You could directly upgrade from 8.4.7-3 to 8.4.7-28. Take the backup of your current configuration before upgrade to this new version.
You could directly change ASA boot variable in System configuration and upgrade.

thank you for the reply
but we have doubt that we have multiple context and we have lot of static nats rules and if we upgrade any thing that will affect from the ios change

Hi Barath,
.3 to .28 is an interim upgrade. So it could be directly upgrade. there is no changes in these upgrade. Interim upgrade is having mainly bug fixes.
