Hi,
I Configured the ASA firewall In active standby mode, I need to configure the virtual mac address, Here i am getting Confuse
while adding the virtual mac address.
Do i need to configure the Virtual mac address on all data interface on both the devices( active/Standby) or need to configure the virtual mac address only on Active unit.

Hi,
Ideally , you don't have to use the Virtual MAC address on the Data Interface but you can.
You just need to configure the Virtual MAC on the Active Unit and that replicates to the Standby on its own.
