As i know , the VNS base can support device up to five

Recently , I install VMS Base and intend to add IDSM device into VMS , but i got error message " The Licening is expire "

I am very curious , VMS Base is free used , why does got the error meeage ?????

Sounds like you might not have applied the license to the Common Services during install.

Do you remember doing this?

The license is called vms-sampler.lic or something very similar and is located on the VMS Basic CD.

Give this a try and let us know.
