On my ASA in WCCP configuration, the hash allotment is 0%, due to which packets are not getting redirected.

Can you suggest the issue, why hash is not allocated?

Sakun

Recreating dynamic service ID fixed the issue. But I am not sure why it happened.

The only reason why this should happen is if the service id is not same on ASA and the wccp cache engine. Once the id is matched, then the ports are decided by wccp cache engine(as defined) and redirection is done. Hashing comes later. Please ensure that the service id is same.

Usually, we tend to use the default service ids, but we can map any service id to any port as desired.

wccp redirection stops intermittently and post reboot of ASA firewall or WSA proxy it starts working again. No changes related to wccp is being done when the issue occurs. Anyone facing similar issue
