I have an ASA 5520 that is currently running 9.1.. I am trying to implement WCCP to use with our proxy web filtering appliance (Forcepoint/Websense). I have setup everything exactly as described in the Cisco and FP/Websense documentation (ACL's, Service Groups, Host objects, Redirects, etc) and all looks correct.
With one exception... When I do a "show wccp" everything is just fine, with the exception of the fact that the "Router Identifier" shows "Not Yet Determined".
Now this should be the address of the highest interface in my system (which in my case is the public IP on the outside interface), but it shows nothing. I think there used to be a command like "ip wccp ......something" that you could manually set it, but that does not seem to exist in 9.1.
I have tried wiping everything WCCP related out and starting from scratch, but no luck, it will not auto-populate the Router ID.
