Hi All  ...  What hardware, software and licenses are included in the ASA5580-20-40-UPG  Kit ?

Planning an upgrade and want to know exactly what is included in this kit

It includes the following:

1) Processor

2) Heatsink

3) Processor power module

4) DIMMs

5) License to upgrade from 20 to 40

Is the license upgrade 20 to 40 actual software or license key or is the a paper type license ?

In short besides the hardware installation do I need to do any software upgrades or ios configuration upgrades.

It's PAK license and you will need to activate that through www.cisco.com/go/license

No software upgrade is necessary as both ASA5580-20 and ASA5580-40 runs the same image. Just license update as per first step in the URL I provided earlier.

Last question.   Do you have the Cisco part number for the license PAK ?
