What is the different between CON-CSSPD-IPS4240 & CON-SUSA-IPS4240?

My IPS4240 comes with the con-csspd-ips4240. After configuration, the signature is on trial. I cannot do any updates.

Do i need to purchase the con-susa-ips4240?

Yes you are right. To update signature to the latest signature pack, you would need to purchase the IPS subscription (CON-SUSA-IPS4240).
