Will ASA traffic be interrupted when installing FirePOWER software module ?

Hi,

I am planning to install a FirePOWER software module to one Production ASA 5525-X. I have read the "Install and Configure a FirePOWER Services Module on an ASA Platform" guide but I am not sure will the any parts of the process interrupt ASA traffic ? or cause high loading on CPU or something ?

Hello Roy,

If this is a fresh installation and since there is no traffic redirection policy , then there wont be any issue which affects the traffic.

But still it would be great if you can conduct this during a maintenance window.

Rate and mark if the answers are correct .
