Hi ,
i am trying to copy the config from the pix firewall to a tftp server.
i define the tftp srever and the pix is able to communicate with tftp server.
tftp-server inside 172.16.4.132 software/cisco/ciscoas5350
the following is the error message i am getting when i am trying to write my config to tftp via the nbetwork
Hutchfirewall# write net 172.16.4.132:pix.txt
Building configuration...
TFTP write 'software/cisco/ciscoas5350/pix.txt' at 172.16.4.132 on interface 1
Access violation
[FAILED]

Hello,
Some TFTP servers require that the destination file already exist on the TFTP server itself. Can you verify that there is a file called pix.txt located in software/cisco/ciscoas5350 with write privileges on the file?

YES THERE IS A FILE BY THE NAME PIX.TXT IN THE TFTFP SERVER

From the PIX box, can you ping the tftp server?

YES I AM ABLE TO COMMUNICATE TO MY TFTP SERVER.

Pl. try these commands:
tftp-server inside 172.16.4.132 software/cisco/ciscoas5350/pix.txt
write net
