The GigaStack Gigabit Interface Converter (GBIC) is a Cisco proprietary Gigabit Ethernet stacking GBIC that offers high-speed interconnectivity to supporting switches.
Up to nine switches can be set up in point-to-point or various cascaded stack cabling configurations.
GigaStack is also fully compatible with switch clustering.
