Internet Explorer does not have passive FTP enabled by default. If you were attempting to access the FTP area using Internet Explorer, you can enable passive FTP.
Perform these steps:
- Select Tools > Internet Options.
- Click the Advanced tab.
- Scroll until you find Use Passive FTP. Ensure that this box is checked.
- Restart your browser and attempt to access again.
