Hello,
my University provides access via a pre-configured AnyConnect under Win10 64bit Professional (Education) on a DELL 7390. It worked well for years.
Now, after an update, I could log it, but after the connection was etsablished, nothing else worked: I had a university IP-address (as I should), but I could not forward to any other address, neither could I send or receive mail.
The network indicator in the task area is originally changed from a WLAN-symbol to a LAN Symbol once I connected. Now after update, it changed to the globe, indicating no conection at all (although the IP address was that of the established connection).
On advice by our IT department, I de-installed and tried to reinstall.
I have no luck with the 64bit msi install file my university provides. It crashed mid-installation only with a message "install failed". installing 32bit (on my 64bit system) does work, but the connection behaves as described above.
So:
- Any ideas as to what causes this? Maybe
- some process/service not running?
- some effect of TCP Optimizer settings (I was advised to optimize by my private cable service provider)?
- sth else?
- Is there a possibility to have the install logged for further diagnosis?
Thanks in advance
Andreas
