Cisco Packet Tracer Error".pksz is not a valid Activity Sequence file"

First time trying to use this software, I started the Getting Started with Cisco Packet Tracer course. I get to step 1.1.6 Packet Tracer Tutored Activity - Logical and Physical Mode Exploration and download the file but when trying to open the file I get the following error. I have tried redownloading the file, I have tried another user account on another PC with new install instance of Packet Tracer. I'm using version 8.2.1.0118 of packet tracer. All with the same error. Any ideas?

Found out our company firewall prevents downloading .pksz files. When it downloads it looks like it goes through the motions and there is a file there, but the file size is 0kb. If I use hotspot and download the file off of our company network, it works fine. Thanks everyone who put any time into this.

it seems to be fine for me; Win7, 64bit, not log into PT (running as guess) but logged into Skill4All site. Same PT version as yours. It takes a few seconds to load like its loading from the Internet.  I will try this on WIn10 later where I am logged into PT;

Hi , I think is what you should do is uninstall this version of PT and install the previous one (8.2.0) it works perfectly well for me and i think it will for you too.

Hello rossc,

Since, You redownloaded and reinstalled  and you tried with new packet tracer verion...I think, it's a bug.Some times...there will be a bug in the packet tracer activities....If you want you can report the bug in the packet tracer activity follow the procedure...

Olá, boa noite. estou com o mesmo problema. ao tentar abrir um arquivo . .pkz is not a valid activity sequence file.

Alguém pode me ajudar a encontrar a solução ?

Is the .pkz file you downloaded 0kB?

No, it doesn't.  The downloaded file has 57.364KB
