Please I would like to get some in sight. On my 2901 router, I notice that sometimes certain processes significantly increase their CPU utilization and they always do so together at the same time and this causes my overall cpu utilization to go high. So I would like some ideas on what is capable of causing this increase in these processes: IP Input, SNMP Engine, IP SNMP, PDU Dispatcher, ARP Input. The order of the increase is always the same as I listed them out with IP input always the highest and ARP Input the lowest. I also noticed that the number of packets being process switched on my WAN interface with ISP is quite high.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
