Free Certification Exam Retake

Pearson VUE, one of the leading global providers of certification exams, has announced an excellent opportunity: the chance to retake a certification exam for free across several vendors — including Cisco.

To take advantage of this benefit, candidates must schedule and take the exam by June 12, 2025. If not successful on the first attempt, a free retake can be used between July 7, 2025 and January 20, 2026.

Is it possible to combine this with the 58% discount voucher which can get by passing the CCNAv7: ENSA netacad examination?

Hi @Dinindu , not sure whether this is possible or not. You can give a try to schedule the exam, and when scheduling, check if the promo code box will be enabled to fill it up.

Hi Cisco community, I opted in to the free retake offer and got the code back, but when I tried to schedule my exam (350-401) for my CCNP recert, it would not let me pay with a prepaid voucher (from my employer), when the free retake offer code was applied.  I had to remove the free retake opt-in code, in order to pay.  This means you can't take advantage of the free retake offer, if a prepaid voucher is used for payment sadly.  I emailed the Pearson Vue customer service team but sadly their response was not great.  Hopefully this information may help somebody else in the community.  Thanks, Neil
