I'm currently using HyperTerminal to console into switches and routers to do basic configurations. When I look for alternatives things like cmder, ConEmu, hyper.js, etc. and then PuTTY and Tera Term.
Is there a way to access IOS CLI from a program like ConEmu via direct connection with the switch or router? I've been searching forums and can't seem to find anything. Like with a mac there are commands I can put into macOS' default terminal application and I think a serial cable and get connected for a basic config.
Thanks and apologies if this has been asked or if this is in the wrong place. Tried looking around first.
