Unable to download the latest version of Packet Tracer

Hello,

I am currently unable to download the Cisco Packet Tracer. When I click on the download link provided in the free online course, a null.htm file downloads instead of the Packet Tracer application. See attached photo. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure no firewall is blocking Cisco Packet tracer from downloading.....

You can also download from other third-party websites...as well...

Try from the following source...i hope it should work...

I do not think this is firewall related issue. Tested with two different machines in their own networks and firewall rules. Browser chrome.

Is this link you provided somehow affiliated with Cisco? I think downloading executable files from third-party websites do carry their own security related concerns.

@Gopinath_PigiliI did check the firewall configurations and everything look good and nothing was being blocked. I was able to download Packet Tracer using the NetAcademy link as you had suggested. Thank you!

This is what happened when I did what you said. Same result from the previous download attempt.

When I sign in it asks me to create an account (which I already have) but does not allow me to download and use the packet tracer tool. Any advice?

You will have to create a Cisco Network Academy account. I log in using the link that was just provided to you, I clicked the download link, and I successfully downloaded the Packet Tracer software. Best of luck!
