Blocking Twitter app

Dear, 

I would like to know if I can block the twitter app (Android, iOS) using the web filtering function.

I have successfully blocked the twitter website and it can not be accessed through any browser, but is there a way to block the mobile app too?

If the Twitter app works with DNS, you need to identify the domains being used by the app, for example by searching the internet for this information or by visiting your domains stats.
