Browsing Issues

anyone else experiencing random browsing issues with opendns for the last 2 days. I am a partner re seller and even I cannot get effective support. I think I will be changing to Webroot DNS for better support options. Open DNS is no longer the only game in town. This is affecting hundreds of my clients endpoints. I have tried resetting everything in the open dns portal to defaults and yet sites like amazon.com are randomly blocked with an umbrella certificate error and others like yankees.com or raise.com the content on the site is partially blocked. Just curious if anyone else is experiencing this?

No, I do not face such kind of problems.

"yet sites like amazon.com are randomly blocked with an umbrella certificate error"

About this specific symptom see https://support.opendns.com/hc/en-us/articles/227988787

According to your symptoms it looks like domains being used by these sites are being blocked by a dashboard policy.  You need to modify the policy to not block them.

"I have tried resetting everything in the open dns portal"

Yep, this may well be the reason for these issues.

What Umbrella support option did you chose from?  Basic, Gold, Platinum?

Probably not the right one?  Or none at all?
