Question:  if I am outside my network and want to access my network, how do I do this?  What do I put in a browser address window to do this?

I have tried the router ip address;  that gives me a login form;  I don't want that....I want to access a particular device inside my network from outside my network, but again do not know what to type in the address window.

Help would be appreciated greatly....I guess I am looking to type in a DNS address, like "MyNetwork.com," or something similar....Is that what is supposed to be an option?

I also have a dynamic ip address;  so again, what specifically do I enter in the browser address window to access devices in my network?

First you need a Dynamic DNS service which provides you with a hostname to be entered into the browser.

You look for instructions on the internet about how to use it. This forum is not the right place.

Why did you answer in the first place, then?   I figured as much;  forums really are worthless, as you have well demonstrated...I should have known that I couldn't get "REAL" help here....typical!!!!  Do you run stackoverflow.com too?  They're as pompous and disgusting as your exhibit here....next time stay silent if you want to help!!!!!

Fact is this forum is not the place to discuss stuff like how to repair a car. And also your query had nothing to do with OpenDNS. And nobody should help people like you. I have helped you though. I shouldn’t have done it.

You are correct: I asked nothing about how to fix my car, you stackoverflow.com want to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This has nothing to do with OpenDNS huh?  What makes you say that, since I am speaking of OpenDNS where I got my hostname, and that the hostname in the browser window doesn't work at all?  Thus, my original question still stands, as the "HELP" you gave yields nothing (don't think so much of yourself in how much you have helped; you may be disappointed in the "actual" results).

If you got a hostname from OpenDNS, then I pay you $10,000 - promised! No need to ask again, I explained what you really need. So go ahead and follow my advises. Zero success is guaranteed else.
