Sky Q hub problems

Hello

I cannot for the life of me change the Dynamic dns address on the Sky router. I am not particularly literate in IT, but need this to monitor the children’s activity’s- could anyone point me in the right direction please, on how to get OpenDNS working with a Sky hub?

Note, DNS server addresses are not dynamic...

What you're saying, does this mean there are no fields to enter DNS server addresses?  Then you cannot configure OpenDNS on the router, but you still can try to configure it on the end user devices.

If you want to configure OpenDNS on the router, then get another router or connect a second router to the Sky hub device.

Thank you for your reply. No it would seem I’m not able to change the dns, may I then ask what is a suitable router to buy, and is there a step by step installation for a middle aged Mum with little IT capabilities? I am in the UK.

I would suggest to get a router where you can configure OpenDNS.  Their instructions list more than 80 routers.
