I moved a domain name to a different nameserver early yesterday. This morning I'm having odd results. If I set my DNS servers on my machine to the OpenDNS IPs I still go to the old host, also, pinging the domain in question displays the old IP address. But If I change my DNS server on my machine to 8.8.8.8 I go to the new host. Also, pinging the domain returns the new IP. I went to CacheCheck and checked my domain and it returns the NEW IP. I even clicked the Refresh the Cache button for good measure and it reports back that all is well. Is the only problem that there are still some locations that haven't propagated yet? I was under the impression that that's what the cachecheck tool was displaying.
