HyperFlex without DNS

Hi Colleagues,

I've got HyperFlex 4.5(2b).

During installation all nods were mentioned via IP addresses. However, DNS addresses were configured.

vCenter was installed later as nested.

After full shutdown of the cluster any attempts to enter CVM and execute stcli fails if DNS servers are not available.

is there any chance to get rid of this necessity ?

Without DNS, the cluster will not come up.

Partially true - you can add manual entries in hosts file then start zookeeper and other necessary processes, but its definitely something you don't want to do for production.

In other words, you will need the DNS.
