Hey! DadeSchools
I just passed the AWS Certified Developer exam recently, so I can definitely share some tips! For study materials, I highly recommend the AWS Certified Developer – Associate (DVA-C01) Exam Guide by AWS itself, as it covers all the essential topics. Also, don’t miss out on A Cloud Guru or Linux Academy—their courses are super detailed and helped me a lot with hands-on practice.
For practice exams, Whizlabs and Tutorials Dojo offer great mock exams that are pretty close to the actual exam. They really helped me get a feel for the types of questions that would come up.
As for topics, make sure you focus on:
- AWS Lambda (understand how to manage and deploy Lambda functions)
- API Gateway (important for integrating APIs)
- S3 and DynamoDB (read/write operations)
- IAM policies and permissions (this is big in the exam)
- CloudFormation (know how to automate deployment)
Lastly, make sure to get a good balance of theory and hands-on experience with AWS services. Best of luck with your preparation—you’ve got this! Let me know if you need more details!
