Hi....

The following shown is my a Cat5000 Switch output.

---------------------------------------------------

#radius

set radius server 211.252.87.126 auth-port 1812

set radius server 10.98.14.31 auth-port 1812 primary

set radius timeout 10 <--------- 1

set radius retransmit 3 <-------- 2

set radius key data

!

#authentication

set authentication login radius enable console primary

set authentication login radius enable telnet primary

set authentication enable radius enable console primary

set authentication enable radius enable telnet primary

-----------------------------------------------------

My question.

1. If no timeout value is specified, how is the default value ?

2. If no retransmit value is specified, how is the default value ?

I wait for your answer.

Thank you...

This is South Korea.

set radius timeout default timeout is 5 seconds.

set radius retransmit default is 2 times (initial attempt plus 2 retransmit attempts for a total of 3 attempts)

This is based on CatOS 6.2, check the command reference:
