Hi All,
A quick and hopefully painless question on the output of the Show access-list command.
When I run the Show access-list command on the 3550-48 switch, extended access lists show no matches and standard access lists do show matches. If I remove all standard access lists, clear counters and run the command Show access-list hardware counters I see access list matches for input/output etc.
My question is, Are access list matches for extended access lists only shown as a total input/output in the Show access-list hardware counters command?
I hope this makes sense
Cheers

What version of code are you running on the 3550?

The 3550-48 switches are running
12.1(19)EA1c
12.1(11)EA1
The 3550-12G is running Version 12.1(11)EA1
The 3550-48 do not give the number of matches wheres the 3550-12G does give the number of matches. Network traces show that the data is matching the access-lists and being marked according to the QoS configuration.
The reason for posting the question is that we are trying to get a third party to configure QoS and confirm they have done it correctly.
Cheers
