Solved: difference between uptime and snmp uptime message

Hello,

I have a difference between uptime and snmp uptime message.

This problem points itself to different Cisco Komponenenten. On router and on Switche.

failure message: The watch source value 3145251155 is greater than the threshold reference value 2508978404.

Can you tell me, what is the issue?

The difference seen between sysUpTime (snmp) and the time in the show version is due to snmp counters wrapping.

sysUpTime is a 32-bit counter and this mib object will wrap everyday 496 days and any differences you see between the 2 values are due to these counters.
