GSR Linecard Question

Currently we have a 8 port ATM Over SONET OC-3c/STM-1 linecard. We want to be able to support Per packet load balancing but this card has engine 2 which will not.

Is there anything similar to this card that will support per packet load balancing?

Engine 2 line card does support per-packet load balancing.

However Globally you need to enable per-packet load balancing for the line card.(per-destination is by default)

(config)#hw-module slot number ip load-sharing per-packet

You will not be able use combination of both per-destination and per-packet load balancing in Engine 2 line cards at interface level.

As compared to Engine 0 / Engine 1 line cards(Interface level it is possible to use combination)

Thats really my issue, it will only be necessary on certain subinterfaces. Not globally. Any other recomendations?

Presently E2 line cards does not support.

May be CISCO comes with a solution for such a requirements in future.
