check out if you have any traffic shape on interfaces without which you have removed related access list .

Hi, you do not need useful traffic to go through your router to have high CPU load. Many things can explain your problem:
- routing protocols
- other features that you typically don't need!
If you could send a
sh run conf
we could see what is active and have a better opinion!
However, sometimes the router receives a lot of traffic from hosts on the same subnet because an application is hanging and bombing the router and yes it can kill a CPU to drop packets! Something to look into as well!
A good troubleshooting procedure is to set the router into a very simple configuration (as simple as possible) and start the router processes (routing protocol, QoS...) one by one and check the CPU at each step : a typical 'night job' as this will impact your users.
Good luck
