OSPF/EIGRP Bandwidth Command on Layer 3 Switch

OK, I know on a router when you use OSPF or EIGRP, the route metrics are calculated using the bandwidth command value placed on the interfaces. When you configure OSPF or EIGRP on a layer 3 switch(4500, 3750,...) do you need the bandwidth statement? If so where should you put it and what value?

Always routing protocols are enabled on layer 3 interfaces. So in L3 switches, you either create SVI (vlan interfaces) and configure ip addresses on them to route between vlans. Or you do a no switchport command under each port, and configure the port directly as a layer 3 interface. Either case, you enable routing protocols on these interfaces. Which means you can apply the bandwidth, delay parameters under these interfaces. Again these commands are by default defined for each type of interface (Show interface output). Unless you want to tweak the default settings and modify it to selectively prefer one route over another, dont tweak it.
