Transparent Bridging Access Control

Can someone tell me why, when I configure bridging access lists (700 type) there is interuption of traffic flow. This loss of traffic flow occurs when entering the access-list 700 statements in global configuration mode.

There is a section contained in 'Configuring Transparent Bridging' on CCO which states the following "Configuring bridging access lists of type 700 may cause a momentary interruption of traffic flow." But I cannot find an explanation for this behaviour.

The reason for the momentary interruption of traffic when adding an access list 700 is due to the bug CSCdy83396.

Thanks for the information. I have looked at the bug you mentioned and this would appear to be what we are running into.
