When I am setting the vlan allowed command I get the results that I want on the users switch, but not the server switch. When I have the port configured for switch access vlan, I cannot pass the traffic to the server, but when I have the switch trunk command and allow vlans on that port all vlans have access to the server. I want the users to reach my dhcp server but not my backup server. Where am I going wrong on this configuration.

OK So lets get a couple of things straight, is this diagram how everything in your network actually connected.
Are all etherchannels trunking?
Is there a router somewhere in this mix to route between the VLANs or are they suppose to be totally seperate?
Let start from left to right nameing the switches SW1 SW2 SW3 SW4
Can you provide the configs on each of the interfaces connecting between each switch?
