I am trying to resurrect a Tartan Ada compiler for the TMS320C30 dsp. I have the cd, but the original machine (SPARCstation) it ran on no longer exists. This compiler used the FLEXlm license manager, which according to my research was owned by Cisco at some point in history. The problem is that the license was locked to a particular computer, and as far as I can tell, Tartan no longer exists, so I can't acquire a new license. I cannot use another Ada compiler; for reasons I won't go into here, it has to be Tartan. This product was circa 1990, and I figure whoever now owns FLEXlm should be able to issue a license or give me a workaround, if they are willing.
Please can anyone help me?
