Hi Lake,

To access the CSC module from the ASA, you would need to:

  • Session into the module with the command ‘session 1’ on the ASA.
  • Use the username/password combination of ‘cisco’ and ‘cisco’

Here are a few docs that might help you:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa72/configuration/guide/ssm.html#wp1078622

Here is the configuration Guide as well:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/security/csc/csc62/administration/guide/cscappa.html

Let me know if  that helps.

Hi Lakeram,

I dont think you can acess the CSC from the ASA CLI. Only to do a password reset and the command would be "hw−module module 1 password−reset". Why do you need console access?

Thanks.

Raga

You can also reload the module by issuing a "hw-module module 1 reload".

Thx.
