Subject says it all.
I login, I work. If I disconnect and reconnect right away the login works, I get the same IP but I can't ping anything.
After 10+ or so minutes it works. There is a timeout somewhere I'm missing.

What version of vpn client are you using and on what os platform? What type of gateway is in use, and what is the level of code running on it?

This is the Linux client primarily although it happends with the windows one as well. Version: Cisco Systems VPN Client Version 4.6.00 (0045)
The gateway is a pix 525. Cisco PIX Firewall Version 6.3(4).
