anyconnect + dsl over satellite

has anyone experience connecting ssl-vpn with anyconnect (2.x/3.x) via dsl over satellite?

I could read there are two techniques - bi-directional and uni-directional.

Are there known problems with this kind of internet access and using anyconnect?

I can tell that ssl-vpn (tested with anyconnect 2.4) with an uni-directional satellite connection is working well.
