application timeout on 515

Hi:

I have a user coming through the vpn on the pix 515.

After the user connects he/she runs a telnet appliction to access one of our servers.

It was working for about 3 weeks and then just recently when the user connects the application times out.

The pix has 32 megs ram. Also two other users connects through the vpn. I'm using the cisco vpn client and pptp dial in.

Do you think it's a memory issue? I tried clearing the arp cache but to no avail.

Any ideas Thanks

NB. The uer is using Windows XP

Hi Oliver,

Have you got any syslog messages that you can provide, to enable logging do this:

logging on

logging buff debug

and then do:

show logging

Also, add command: fixup protocol PPTP 1723 and see if this helps and which PIX IOS are you running?
