Cannot delete access-list

Why I cannot delete an access list PIX 7.0 in running config. I have not assotiated the access list on any interface yet.

Hi,

The 'clear access-list' command is used to the access-list counter. The access-list counter can be viewed using 'show access-list' or 'show access-list ' command.

To delete access-list entry, use the 'no access-list' command.
