Changing default configuration file

Hi:

I have a PIX firewall 506 iso 5.2. I want to clean up the configuration file. We have decided to delete some of the default configuration lines (ie. no aaa-server, no snmp-server, etc.) Is there a way to get rid of lines. Please let me know.

The answer to this question is that it depends. However, the 2 commands you listed above (aaa-server, and snmp-server) cannot be removed from the config. Please rest assured that these commands are not doing anything without the configuration of other related commands on the PIX. If you have other specific examples, please let us know.
