I am installing a 3845 router with the security bundle. I come from a checkpoint fw world so this is a bit new to me. Do i just need to setup Access-lists for the firewall code or is there a special way to setup fw rules for cisco routers?
Hi, it is a little bit different than just access-lists. You need to employ the inspection engine as well. See here for a complete rundown, it is fairly straight forward once you understand, post back here if unsure.
