Cisco CSM ver 3.3.1 change of hostname

Hi,

I had to change my CSM server hostname, after chaning and rebooting of server I cant access anymore the CSM server and got the attached error (CSM error1).

I got a link which is for  "User Guide for CiscoWorks Common Services 3.1"  http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/docs/net_mgmt/ciscoworks_common_services_software/3.1/user/guide/admin.html#wp639478
which says if you chnage the host name of the server we need to run a script to change other locaiton where hostame is used. I tried to run the script but it failed (attached, CSM error2)

Has anyone faced this issue before and how do I resolve this issue?.

Try this in cmd:

X: (your drive where csm is installed)

X:\cd Program Files\CSCOpx\bin

now, inside the folder run the script with the word perl before:

X:\Program Files\CSCOpx\bin>perl hostnamechange.pl -ohost OLDNAME -nhost NEWNAME -domain YOURDOMAIN.COM

X:\cd Program Files\CSCOpx\bin
