I'm trying to connect my laptop with VPN client version 3.5.x to my 3005 concentrator. The laptop sits behind a cisco router with PAT enabled. The Client successfully makes the connection, but cant ping anything on the private side of the 3005. I have checked and tried unchecking the "allow IPSEC over UDP (NAT/PAT) and NAT/PAT/Firewall, but still no luck.
When I put my laptop in front of the PATed router and give the laptop a public IP address, then everything seems to work fine. Is there something I need to configure on my router for this to work. The router currently also connects to another site via pre-share , ESP-DES, ESP-MD5-HMAC.
