Firewall Service Module slow when writing to flash.

I was wondering if anyone else is seeing any issues, with the Firewall Service Module, when trying to save a config to flash?

I have two FSMs in my 6509. They are not running in failover, we are using them as two separate firewalls. On FSM1 the config is about 350 lines, and is 15K in size. On FSM2 the config is about 275 lines, and is 14K in size. When we have FSM1 save its config to flash, it takes upwards of three minutes to write the config. When we save the config on FSM2, it does it within a couple seconds.

While FSM1 is writing its config, the CPU is pegged at 100%. It does not seem to be affecting network traffic, but I would still like to figure out what might be causing this.

Does anyone know of any way to check the flash file system, and see if it is having problems?

Thanks.
