After upgrading to version 7.0(2) we are unable to FTP large files from behind the firewall. If the session takes more than 5 minutes it will not work. The connection is dropped at 5 minutes exactly. We've checked the timeout settings and they are all set to greater than 5 minutes. Any suggestions?

Do you have any authentication configured on the PIX for FTP traffic? If yes, also check the "uauth" timeout values on the PIX. The default "uauth" timer has an absolute timeout of 5 minutes.
Take a look at the this link:

Turned out to be the ftp timeout on the IPS.
